Meet Piggy — Your Sunshine-Loving, Ball-Chasing Best Friend! Piggy is a resilient and loving girl who’s healed up beautifully from her leg surgery and is ready to find a home that matches her sweet spirit and playful heart. She’s still building up her walking endurance, but a nice 30-minute stroll is right up her alley! When she’s not enjoying a walk or basking in the sunshine, Piggy’s favorite place is right by your side. She’s an affectionate companion who loves being close to her people and is great at letting you know when it’s time for a potty break with a polite little whine. Piggy is fully comfortable staying indoors for up to 8 hours without a problem, and she’s a total natural in the crate for travel. She’s an all-star when it comes to fetch — a tennis ball is her best friend — and she’s made great progress in her manners, especially learning not to jump when greeting new adult friends. Piggy gets along with some dogs (she’s even made a few fence-line buddies!) but can be reactive to others, so slow introductions and a thoughtful match will be important. She’s not a fan of rainy days or storms, and she’s still working on getting used to the sights and sounds of motorcycles, bicycles, and especially big white trucks on the road.
