My story

Conrad is a 1 year old male Jack Russell mix who lives for affection - both giving it and soaking it up. Weighing only about 15 pounds, he is one of the smallest pups at the shelter, so he is hoping his forever family finds him soon and gives him the loving home he deserves. Conrad walks beautifully on a leash and has the most endearing little strut, complete with bouncy, spotted ears that make him extra adorable with every step. He arrived at the shelter with another small dog and shared a kennel with her until she was adopted .. so now it’s his turn to find a family of his own. This sweet, snuggly boy is the perfect size to curl up on your lap or settle in close beside you, content just to be near and bask in peaceful companionship. Conrad is ready to trade the shelter life for a quiet, loving home where he can be cherished. So come meet this precious pup today, and you might just meet your perfect match. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.July 6, 2025, 11:48 pm
