My story

Hello, I am Kirk! I'm a 2 year old boy kitty who has a lovely grey tabby coat with a bit of white on my chin, chest, and toes. I'm a little spicy about being here in the shelter, because it is just not my normal vibe. I'm a smart guy who wants to be loved, but I'm also scared, so you'll need to go very slowly with me. I do like treats, so if you brought me some, that might help me trust you a little more quickly. Right now I don't love getting lots of attention, but if I had a furever home I could relax in, I'm pretty sure I'll be a great kitty friend!  The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    June 7, 2025, 9:01 pm
