My story

Meet Gracie! Gracie is the total package – affectionate, adaptable, and always up for an adventure. This playful girl is past the chaos of early puppyhood but still full of youthful energy and curiosity. Whether it's hiking, beach days, tagging along for errands, or cuddling up while you work from home, Gracie is just happy to be part of it all. She's incredibly social, eager to please, and always ready to learn. Gracie is a confident pup with no signs of fear or reactivity. She’s friendly with everyone she meets, including new people, dogs of all sizes, and even cats and small animals. She’s also been calm and indifferent around children she’s met on walks, so she can do well in a home with respectful, dog-savvy kids. On walks, she greets others with a wagging tail and the occasional play bow. She’s made amazing progress on leash and loves walking alongside her foster sibling. While she might pull a little when excited, she’s well-mannered and not easily distracted by city noise or traffic. Inside the home, Gracie is calm, quiet, and respectful. She’s fully house trained and doesn’t need a crate – she's perfectly content lounging on the couch or her dog bed. That said, she’s currently working on crate training to help build comfort with it if ever needed. She’s fine being left alone for a few hours but adores being around her people and will often follow them from room to room. She's affectionate without being clingy and is happy to nap nearby while you go about your day. Gracie’s ideal home would be an active household where she can keep learning, exploring, and soaking up love. She’d do great with another friendly dog, possibly a cat, or as the only pet – she’s just that easygoing. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy who’s just as happy hiking a trail as she is snuggling up for movie night, Gracie might just be your perfect match. Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Gracie? Apply Now! https://newcollar.co/apply-to-adopt
