Meet Cherry — The Mama Dog Who’s All Heart 🐶 2 years old | Spayed Female | Mixed Breed | 24 lbs Cherry is a stunning, affectionate, and social pup with a gentle soul and a joyful spirit — even after a tough start in life. She’s about 24 lbs (11kg) and was found abandoned shortly after giving birth, with her puppy still by her side. Thankfully, both were taken to a shelter where they were safe. Her puppy has since been adopted — now it's Cherry's turn to find a forever home of her own. This sweet 2-year-old girl is spayed, fully vaccinated, and healthy. She has a beautiful balance of energy and calm — playful and outgoing with other dogs, but also happy to relax quietly by your side. Her nickname at the shelter? “Miss Congeniality,” thanks to her friendly and easygoing nature. 🐾 Why we love Cherry: Gets along wonderfully with dogs and did well with a cat she met during a 2-week trial Friendly with adults and children alike Not a barker and has no separation anxiety Pee pad trained indoors, and is learning outdoor potty habits Currently working on leash walking — a little shy, but making progress Moderate shedding (rated 5–6/10) Cherry is currently in a shelter, but we’re hoping to move her to a foster home soon where she can continue learning to trust and thrive in a home setting.
