My story

Meet Munchkin! Munchkin is a striking cat with a big personality and a mind of her own. Munchkin, along with her bestie, Smudge, are looking for the puurrrfect home to call their own! Munchkin is not the type to greet you with instant cuddles—instead, she takes her time getting to know new people and prefers slow, respectful introductions. Once she feels safe, her curious side starts to shine through, and you might catch her watching you with those keen eyes, batting at a wand toy, or settling into a relaxed loaf nearby!Munchkin is confident, intelligent, and deeply aware of her surroundings. She values her personal space and will let you know when she needs a little distance, but she’s also capable of building trust with patient, cat-savvy friends who respect her boundaries. Her ideal home will be with someone who appreciates her independent spirit, understands feline body language, and can give her the time she needs to feel secure.If you’re looking for a couple of cats with some character—cats who will keep you on your toes and reward your patience with moments of connection—Munchkin and Smudge may just be the companions for you! Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
