My story

Currently being fostered in Hanover, PA Meet Sasha – A Quirky, Playful Pup with Big Love to Give! Sasha is a spirited young girl who’s equal parts playful, affectionate, and wonderfully weird in the best way. With her expressive face, high-energy zoomies, and goofy charm, she’ll keep you smiling from morning till night. This girl is full of personality, and she’s ready for a forever home that can match her enthusiasm for life! Personality Sasha is the life of the party! She’s affectionate and goofy, often flopping down right on top of you for snuggles after a busy play session. She’s vocal during play - barks, growls, the whole dramatic performance - but it’s all in good fun. She initiates play with her larger foster dog friend and is gentle but curious with the household cats and ferrets. Sasha would thrive in a home that can handle her playful antics and give her plenty of attention and outlets for her energy. Energy Level High-energy and curious, Sasha needs daily exercise and mental enrichment. She enjoys long walks, active play sessions, and is always ready to explore. She’s not easily rattled—thunder and loud noises don’t faze her one bit! Skills and Training - Learning quickly! She knows “sit” and is working on “come,” “stay,” and “leave it” - Food and praise motivated – great for training - Potty training is in progress and she’s improving each day - Sleeps in an open crate or gated room, but is not comfortable being fully enclosed - Accepts redirection when chewing – currently in that “chew-everything” puppy stage - Tolerates handling of paws and ears well - Bonus quirk: likes to walk herself by picking up the slack on the leash! Companionship Sasha is great with other dogs (especially those who enjoy rough puppy play), respectful of cats, and gentle with small pets like ferrets (though she may give chase if they run). She does well with strangers and older kids. She hasn’t met younger children yet, but her sweet nature suggests she’d adapt well. Sasha is working on being left alone -she’ll bark when she can’t see anyone, but she’s making progress with this too. Love and Affection This snugglebug thrives on human interaction. She’ll lay beside you, on you, or wherever she can be close. She’s extremely affectionate and loves praise and attention just as much as treats. Included Veterinary Care: - Visit to veterinarian for health certificate - Up to date on vaccinations for her age - Spayed - Microchipped - Heartworm preventative - Flea and tick preventative - Worm/parasite treatments Sasha is a one-of-a-kind pup who will flourish with structure, exercise, and lots of love. If you’re ready to add a quirky, brilliant, and snuggly sidekick to your life, she’s waiting to meet you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sasha Bear, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
