My story

Current Location: Bristow, VA Meet Daya – A Gentle Spirit with a Playful Heart Personality Daya is a sweet, quiet, and playful girl who greets both people and dogs with gentle friendliness. She’s easy to love and eager to connect, taking joy in calm affection and cheerful play. While she hasn’t yet met cats or children, her demeanor suggests she may do well with proper introductions. The only time she’s barked? When a kid zoomed past on a scooter with a helmet - fair enough! Energy Level With her balanced, medium energy, Daya is up for a nice walk or a play session, and then happy to settle down. She loves to romp with other dogs and would really thrive with a playful canine companion in the home - or at least regular playdates to help her stay social and engaged. Skills and Training - Leash trained – walks nicely and enjoys the outdoors - Crate trained – rests comfortably and quietly - House trained – doing great in her foster home - Well-mannered – hasn’t had any issues adjusting to new environments - Still learning – a smart, willing student who responds well to encouragement Companionship Daya is friendly with everyone she's met so far - both human and canine. She enjoys company and closeness but never demands attention. She would do best in a home where she’s not alone too long and where she can build a connection, either with another dog or with her people through quality time and shared activity. Love and Affection With her quiet sweetness and soft eyes, Daya has a way of nestling into your heart without even trying. She’s affectionate, gentle, and easy to be around. Whether she’s playing in the yard or curled up at your feet, Daya is simply content to be near her people. Included Veterinary Care - Visit to veterinarian for health certificate - Up to date on vaccinations for her age - Spayed - Microchipped - Heartworm preventative - Flea and tick preventative - Worm/parasite treatments Daya is the kind of companion who brings warmth, calm, and just the right amount of playfulness into a home. If you’re looking for a kind, well-mannered pup to grow with your family, she might just be the one.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daya, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
