Seventeen

My story

Seventeen was found on the streets homeless by one of our volunteers on May 17, 2025. He was shaken in fear in a corner from having just been beaten (almost to death), just because he barked at a child that got too close. The vet estimates Seventeen to be 7-8 years old. Due to his long time homeless and living on the streets eating garbage to survive, the majority of his teeth have rotted and unfortunately, the vet had to remove them all to prevent conditions worsening and expanding. Now at his foster family's, Seventeen has learned that he doesn't need to be afraid - he's learned to wag his tail, play, and run around for fun, not fear. Although he is in his senior years, we still hope Seventeen can find a great family to live out his golden years, and be so so loved.
