Buttercup (Steger)

My story

Buttercup was adopted a while back. She was a young, energetic and very social girl. She originally tested well with dogs and loved everyone she met! Unfortunately she found herself in a very unfortunate situation. To no fault of her previous owner, She got attacked by another dog and got the worst of it. Her physical wounds healed well, but her trust in other dogs was destroyed. Her owner tried everything they could to keep her and keep her safe, but due to unchangeable circumstances she was living in a very unsafe situation for her. Her owner made the decision to bring her back to us in hopes that we can find her a better situation so she can thrive again! Buttercup is still a very sweet and energetic girl but now she’s got some trust issues when it comes to dogs. She’s great with people and even kids, but will need a home with no other dogs or cats. She is spayed, microchipped, current on rabies and distemper, Heartworm and fecal negative. She is around 4 years old. No cats or dogs but she loves kids! Shes been living in a kennel environment for almost a year now trying to find a foster or adopter🥺
