My story

Meet Charlie – The Snuggly, Smart, and Social Pup!  Currently in foster care |  11 months old |  Mastiff/Chocolate Lab mix | Neutered and up to date at the vet   Looking for a big-hearted pup with an even bigger personality? Meet Charlie – an 11-month-old Mastiff/Chocolate Lab mix who's equal parts cuddle bug and playmate! This handsome boy is currently thriving in his foster home and is more than ready to find his forever family.   Charlie is crate trained, leash trained, and has excellent recall. He already knows his basic commands: sit, lie down, go to bed, heel, come, and touch. He's currently mastering "leave it" and working on channeling his puppy energy in all the right ways – like long walks, play sessions with other pups, and brain games (did we mention he's super food motivated?).    Charlie is a social butterfly who loves to play with other dogs and is respectful of older dogs who need their space. On or off leash, he’s friendly, polite, and eager to make canine (and human!) friends.  Like many young pups,  Charlie can get mouthy when he’s excited , especially during play – almost as if you’re just another puppy! But he’s learning fast with the help of  toys, redirection, and consistent training . With continued guidance, he’s well on his way to mastering gentle play and self-control.  Once playtime is over, he’s more than happy to curl up for a good snuggle – he truly loves being close to his people.   He’s best suited for an active home where he can continue learning and growing, preferable with an experienced owner.
