Meet Echo – The Three-Legged Lovebug With a Heart That Beats to Its Own Drum Some dogs have a rags-to-riches story—Echo’s is more of a tied-to-a-fence-to-adoption-spotlight kind of tale. At 5 years old, this pit mix has already proven she’s got grit, charm, and enough joy to power a small city. When she went to the vet to get spayed, we learned two things: She’s been carrying around a 5-6 heart murmur (but don’t worry—her heart still works overtime making people fall in love with her). She had an old hip fracture that didn’t heal quite right, so she’s upgrading to the sleek, three-legged model soon—less leg, more speed. And here’s the thing: Echo doesn’t care about any of it. She can still play and run with the best of them. She’s basically a happy, wiggly, people-loving, dog-and-cat-friendly marshmallow with fur. She adores kids, greets strangers like long-lost friends, and has never met a lap she didn’t want to sit in. Echo is proof that life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful. She’s ready for her forever home—bonus points if you love sloppy kisses, goofy zoomies, and the kind of unconditional love that echoes in your heart forever. Our adoptions are done on a first come first service basis unless a hold is placed on the pet(s).  The hold is for up to 7 days and may be done when the Adoption Contract is submitted.  You may place a hold by paying the Hold Fee of $25 per pet.  The Hold Fee of $25 is Non-Refundable and will be in addition to the Adoption Fee.  You may instead pay the full Adoption Fee which will also hold the pet(s).  After 7 days, if the pet(s) have not been picked up, any fees paid will be forfeited and will be considered a donation to Hands 'N Paws Animal Assistance.  ##2450168##
