My story

Meet Rosie the Riveter! This sweet girl arrived at the San Diego Humane Society as a stray. While her microchip didn’t help locate her family, it did give her name — Rosie. We scooped her up to become a Frosted Face on July 3rd. Rosie is about 13 years old and weighs 10 lbs. She is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, enjoying love and comfort in a home while we learn more about her. Her Fling Mom reports: "Rosie is a very sweet, calm little girl. In the car on the way home, she slept. At home, she looked around inside and out and settled in one dog bed—after trying out every dog bed in the house. Rosie is not a picky eater, and so far, she has eaten whatever I give her. She likes to be held but is fine sleeping on one of the dog beds in whatever room I’m in. Rosie stands by the door if she has to go outside to potty. The first day here, she went potty in the house but on a potty pad (I was impressed). Today (the second day here), she has only gone potty outside. I took Rosie for a walk this morning, and she’s pretty fast for an old gal! Once she settled, she slept quietly all night in a crate, and her bedding was dry this morning." Rosie is adapting so quickly and well to her Fling home! Stay tuned for the next update!
