My story

Life may not have been always kind to our adorable little Cowboy in the beginning but that's all in the past and he's joyful and ready to find his loving forever home and hang his hat up! This extremely well mannered 9 pound, 5 month tiny love nugget is thought to be a chihuahua mixed with either dachshund or another small terrier. He will bring happiness and love wherever he goes...not to mention smiles as his ears that have a life of their own! Cowboy loves people, other dogs of all sizes, children and just wants to be included in the family fun! This smart little peanut is potty trained and crate trained so he will make an easy transition into his forever home. Our always happy Cowboy would love to pack up his toys and bones in his saddle bags and mosey on over to your place for love, companionship and attention! ADOPTION DONATION: $425 *All dogs must be adopted as inside companion animals only. They will be up to date vaccinations, altered when old enough, microchipped, on Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventatives. PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
