My story

Hello from Maeve! She is a 7 month old Tortie kitty looking for a home with her brother Elijah. They are oh so shy when first meeting people & new places, but if you sit with them & speak softly, offering your hand to them, they do come over & rub ALLLL over you, they are sweet as can be when they gain a little confidence!Maeve & Elijah are a bonded pair & must be adopted together. We have no reason to believe they couldn`t go to a home with other cats after a proper slow introduction to each other. Their personalities may be too skittish for younger children, but older cat-savvy kiddos that are able to be quiet & go slow with them may be okay. A calm, cat-savvy dog that will not bother them may be okay as well.Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays).
