My story

Luna is a sweet, soft-eyed pup who’s ready for a fresh start. She’s full of love and snuggles and she’s looking for a home that can help her feel her best, one walk and one play session at a time. She’s carrying a little extra weight right now, but with some activity and a healthy routine, Luna is well on her way to feeling her best. She’s not asking for much, just a kind human, some encouragement, and maybe a game of fetch now and then!If you`re looking for a new bestie to share your days and your heart with, Luna’s ready to be your walking buddy, couch co-pilot, and forever friend!IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:110 lbsHOME TYPE:Any.CHILDREN:Yes- Middle-aged and sturdy children who have had previous large dog experience potentially compatible. CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:Moderate to Low; will need some daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation but enjoys plenty of down time as well.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner potentially compatible. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least one in-person training sessions to work on socialization, basic training and manners.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Very human social. She is so sweet and friendly once comfortable!FAVOURITE THINGS:Enjoys interacting with her people.
