Ollie (Oliver)

My story

Oliver (Ollie) was adopted by his current family in June under the impression he was good with kids. When they took him home, it was immediately clear he does not like children. With his best interest in mind, his family made the difficult decision to help Ollie find a new family better fit to his preferences. He took quickly to the adults, dog, and cats in the home, showing an extremely sweet personality when interacting with them. Ollie would prefer a home without small children. If any children in the home multiple meet and greets will be required. He would thrive in a setting where someone works from home or is home much of the time. He is people (adult)-friendly and is just happy to be in the presence of his people. He has displayed some separation anxiety which will take some patience helping him work through. However, when left in the company of the other dog in the home, he does well. Ollie loves to go on walks, play fetch, and cuddle on the couch. He’s a great mix of playful and chill.
