My story

MEET MARLO! This darling little male chihuahua mix is approximately 10 years young, 8 lbs and available for adoption through PAWS Rescue inc. Don’t let his age fool you—Marlo may be a senior, but he still has plenty of pep in his step! He loves going on walks, especially to the park, and walks nicely on a leash. His favorite pastimes include snuggling, eating, and spending as much time as possible with his human. Marlo is a laid-back, gentle soul who gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids. While he hasn’t been tested with cats, he has shown some curiosity toward squirrels during his park strolls. This handsome guy is potty trained, doesn’t shed, and sleeps soundly through the night. He is not currently crated, and it’s unknown whether he’s ever been crate trained. Because Marlo forms strong bonds quickly, he would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time—ideally with a retiree or someone who works from home. He would like a yard to sniff around in. With his sweet nature and calm energy, Marlo is sure to steal your heart.
