How this pet arrived: Panther was brought in by a community member on June 12, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Say hello to Panther, a shy kitten with a quiet charm. Panther came to us with a few of his littermates and has always found comfort in their company. Because of this, he needs to be adopted with one of them or into a home with a confident, social kitten or cat close to his age who can help show him the ropes. Panther is still learning that people can be trusted, and a quiet, low-traffic home will help him settle in and feel safe. He would appreciate a home without the hustle and bustle of young children or dogs, where he can adjust at his own pace. A calm environment with cozy hiding spots, warm sunbeams to nap in, and a gentle routine will help him slowly come out of his shell. Confinement will be the key to his success-starting in a small, quiet room where he can feel secure and begin to explore when he's ready. He may not be the first to greet you at the door, but with patience (and a few tasty treats), he'll begin to show his softer side. When it's time to bring Panther home, be sure to bring a top-loading carrier to make the trip as stress-free as possible. If you're ready to open your heart to a quiet kitty looking for peace and comfort, Panther may be just the one for you.Shy/Fearful Cat: Panther requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.
