How this pet arrived: Lily was brought in by her previous owner on July 12, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Lily! Lily is a shy gal at heart who needs time, patience, and a low-stress environment to truly settle in. With new people, she prefers a slow introduction and plenty of personal space. Once she's comfortable, she enjoys being near her humans-often found lounging in different corners of the room or stretched dramatically across your keyboard like the true home office queen she is. Lily exhibits a behavior known as petting-induced overstimulation (sometimes called petting aggression). This means she may enjoy affection up to a point, but if interactions go on too long or become too intense, she'll let you know it's time to stop with clear body language-like skin ripples, tail swishes, or gentle swats. Consent checks and respecting her signals are key to a harmonious relationship. She's looking for a calm, predictable home without young children or other cats, where she can feel safe and in control of her surroundings. For the right person, Lily is a rewarding companion-thoughtful, expressive, and full of personality (with just a touch of diva). Give her the space and respect she deserves, and she just might reward you with a warm lap snuggle and some very exclusive affection.Overexcited and Energetic Cats:Lily requires a virtual behavior consult, please read THIS article to learn more about them. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 14.82 Age: 9yrs 4mths 0wks
