My story

Meet our handsome Persian cats available for adoption together - Atticus and Cicero!These boys can be initially timid as they are from a large group recently rescued. However, over time we have discovered that the two of them absolutely love to play with wand toys and are very happy to accept yummy treats. Like many Persians, they may experience some breathing and eye issues due to their flat-faced features. An adopter should be well versed in the breed and their needs. A calm, quiet adult environment and attentive care will hopefully help Atticus and Cicero thrive. Though currently quite shy and under-socialized to people, they have made great strides in the shelter and are now ready for a place to call home where they can continue to improve. They need a cat savvy guardian willing to work with them to build trust in people. They have been exposed to an upper respiratory virus so all cats in the home should be kept up to date with vaccines. If you're looking for two beautiful felines with lots of potential, who just needs a little extra understanding and time, Atticus and Cicero might be the perfect match. Rescued with 82 others in a time of crisis, they have been through so much in just a few weeks and are now ready for the peace and comfort of a forever home.Cicero and Atticus also love spending time with their sister Athena. The three of them would love to find a home all together. However, we recognize this is a large ask and if Athena cannot stay with her brothers than we would want her to join a home with another cat-friendly feline. This trio deserves to find their happily ever after.
