My story

Azalea is a gentle, loving cat who’s found herself back in our care through no fault of her own. After three years in a home, her owner had to return her due to housing issues, and it was clear just how hard that decision was. Her previous family described her as a sweet lap cat and a total couch potato—with the ability to get into mischief if she so desires! Mostly, she’s content to curl up beside you or settle into your lap as you relax, happy to keep you company. When it comes to affection, Azalea knows exactly what she likes. One of her favorite activities is a good petting session, especially if you’re focusing your attention on her head and back, with a few chin scratches in between. Just skip the belly—she’d prefer to keep that off-limits. She also enjoys a good toy, especially anything that crackles. Foil balls, wads of paper, or anything with that telltale crinkly sound are her absolute favorites. Azalea is a low-key girl with a heart full of love and plenty of purrs to share. She’s lived with cats in her previous home with no problems, since she’s more interested in her own business—or yours! Azalea has a calm, affectionate nature that makes her the perfect addition to families who enjoy quiet afternoons and cozy snuggles. She’d love for you to scoop her up today!
