My story

Meet Ursula! Initially mistaken for a feral cat, Ursula quickly showed us otherwise—within days, she was rubbing against our legs and coming out to greet us! Most impressive was the fact that she not only recognized the sound of a treat bag, but came trotting over for a snack. Someone out there had clearly spent time with her, and we’re grateful to that kind soul for laying the foundation of trust that’s helped her settle in so easily. Despite her hazy past, Ursula is calm, independent, and not particularly interested in other cats’ drama. She gets along flawlessly with the other felines, but is mostly content to do her own thing. While she isn’t one to demand attention, she loves having familiar humans nearby and will happily sit by you while you work. Grand displays of affection aren’t for her, but when you feel something soft and gentle brush against your legs, you know Ursula has come to say hi! Ursula especially enjoys spending time on the catio, where she can stretch out and soak up the sun for hours. She’s the kind of cat who’s happy with both indoor comfort and outside freedom. Whether you’re looking for a serene sofa companion or a porch cat to guard your mail, the adaptive Ursula might be the perfect pick!
