Meet Nova – Your New Brown-Eyed Best Friend Fostered in Union Bridge, MD Nova is a 35-pound mixed breed sweetheart with big brown eyes, a soft heart, and a growing sense of confidence. She’s sweet, social, and ready to love her way into your life, and probably your lap too. Personality Nova is a happy, gentle pup with a snuggly side and an adventurous spirit. She’s social, affectionate, and loves being around people and other dogs. She’s still coming out of her shell, but her curiosity and playful energy are shining brighter every day. Nova responds to her name and loves a little leg pat or kissy noise as a personal invitation to come say hello. Energy Level Balanced and manageable -Nova enjoys daily walks, backyard zoomies (if available), and playtime with canine pals. But once her energy is spent, she’s all about curling up on a dog bed or snuggling close on the couch. She’s the perfect blend of playful and chill. Skills and Training - House trained - Crate trained (she knows the word “kennel” and settles in easily when her foster is away or at bedtime) - Leash skills are improving every day, especially in a yard-free home - Responds well to positive reinforcement, food motivation, and kind direction - Comfortable being brushed and enjoys attention - Learning basic commands like “sit” and how to walk politely on leash Companionship Nova would thrive in nearly any home. She’s great with other dogs, enjoys meeting new people, and adapts well to new routines. She doesn’t seem fearful, and she’s quickly learning the joy of playtime and affection. She would do well with an individual, couple, or family who can continue to guide her with love and consistency. Love and Affection Nova is a cuddle expert. She loves curling up with her people, soaking in all the love, and will happily lounge near you or hop up for some couch snuggles. She’s loyal, affectionate, and will be your shadow in the very best way.
