My story

Meet Piccolo, a 1-year-old heartthrob with a champion wiggle and a personality to match! This handsome guy is currently living in a foster home, where he’s proving to be the total package—sweet, cuddly, and full of charm.Piccolo loves to play fetch and romp around with his doggy pals, but when the excitement winds down, he’s also a top-tier nap buddy. He gets the occasional spurt of playful energy like any young dog, but for the most part, he’s calm, relaxed, and happy to just be near his people. He’s working hard on his potty training and making great progress with his leash manners. Piccolo knows how to “sit” and is very eager to learn more, especially when treats are involved. He’s met some kiddos and did well, showing off his gentle side.In true curious-young-dog fashion, he’s been tolerant of his foster’s cats—occasionally tempted to chase when they bolt, but otherwise gives them a respectful sniff and moves along. He’s still learning, but he`s doing a great job figuring it all out. With his affectionate nature and love for both play and snuggles, Piccolo is ready to finish growing up in a home where he’ll be loved, guided, and celebrated. Could that be with you? Piccolo was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and here is what they had to say, `We treated Piccolo to a summer day full of fun and adventure! He chased tennis balls in the backyard, went for leisurely walks, visited the lawn and garden center (where he made lots of new friends), and topped it all off with a well-deserved pup cup. Piccolo is cheerful, playful, and full of love. He’s so ready to be someone’s loyal best friend. He reminds us of Chance from Homeward Bound, a goofy, affectionate pup with a big heart and endless enthusiasm. He’s treat-motivated, eager to learn, and brings joy wherever he goes.
