My story

Hi there! My name is Beluga, and I’m a new arrival in Minnesota. All my littermates have found their forever homes, which made me feel a bit down. But then, out of nowhere, the Warrior Dog Van pulled up, and I had a spot on it! Next thing I knew, I was embarking on a thrilling adventure from a rescue in Alabama to a rescue in Minnesota. If you’re looking for a warrior, look no further—I’m your boy!My foster mom came to pick me up, and I couldn’t contain my excitement. I hopped into the car with joy and couldn’t wait to see where we were going. We weren’t even a mile down the road when I let out a big sigh of relief and fell fast asleep the entire way home.I’m a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and dogs. I’m always up for playing and making friends. I’ll follow you around the house, just in case you need me for anything. When you sit down, I’ll be right there on your lap, ready to cuddle.My foster mom keeps telling me how smart I am. I learned to sit immediately, and I’m working on potty training. I go outside on a schedule, and she says I’m doing great! I sleep in my crate at night and when my foster family is away. If I go to my crate when asked, I get a treat.Come meet me at an adoption event or fill out an application to show interest and get a chance to meet me in person. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
