My story

Meet Katie, an eight month old Pit mix weighing 35 pounds.Katie is a sweet, playful girl who’s full of life and love! She came to us with an injured leg, but it’s healing up beautifully—and it certainly hasn’t slowed her down one bit. Still very much a puppy at heart, Katie is always ready for some fun, whether it’s chasing toys, rolling in the grass, or soaking up all the attention she can get.She’s a perfect medium size and the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. After a good romp, Katie is more than happy to curl up for some cozy cuddle time. Friendly, loving, and full of potential, Katie is ready to bring joy and tail wags to her forever home!This pet is available for adoption on 6/30/2025 at 4:33 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
