Click here to learn more about the adoption process!Ella is a sweet and slightly nervous cat who was slowly coaxed out of the den with the offer of treats. She gave a single hiss that seemed more directed at the world at large than at the assessor, and then came forward and allowed all petting. She had forward-facing whiskers, large pupils, and forward-facing ears. She gave little head bunts, but every time someone came into the room, she would gently retreat back into the den, coming out just moments later. She made a few biscuits and was calm when picked up and sat back down.Ella tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that she go to a home with some cat experience preferred and be counseled in nervous cat behavior and her history of spraying. Primary Color: Calico Weight: 6.2 Age: 1yrs 6mths 0wks
