My story

Luke is a sweet one-year-old, long-haired Chihuahua mix weighing just eight pounds. Though he starts out shy, this little guy will show his playful, curious side in a safe and loving home. He’s loyal, gentle, and loves to cuddle up next to you on the couch. Once Luke trusts you, he’ll happily follow you from room to room like your tiny shadow. Luke is crate-trained and enjoys having a quiet space of his own. He’s also doing great on leash walks—no pulling, just a polite trot by your side—and he rides calmly in the car. Intelligent and observant, he’s a quick learner with a soft temperament. Luke will do best with an adopter who can offer patience, structure, and continued reassurance as he builds confidence. He could be your one-and-only dog if you’re home often and ready to give him lots of love and attention. He may also thrive in a home with calm, well-adjusted dog(s) who can help show him the ropes and model how to play and trust. Luke is neutered, vaccinated, and has no health issues. Currently being fostered in an apartment, Luke is reliably potty-trained and does his business on walks. He’s ready for his fresh start; could that be with you?
