My story

Meet Mateo! Little Mateo was seen being thrown from a car, together with two other dogs (Millie and Mater). Thankfully someone saw it happen and scooped them up. They are all safe in our care now and doing great. Mateo is a good boy!  He was a bit timid when he arrived, understandably, but is doing much better now and is coming out of his shell. We think he is around 1 year old and he is fairly small at around 10-12 lbs.  Mateo loves other dogs and will do best in a home with another smallish dog to help him build confidence. He is still easily timid around new people and new situations so a patient family who can help him continue to blossom would be wonderful. We recommend him for a home with kids over 12, simply because fast and unpredictable movements are a bit scary for him. Mateo is vaccinated, chipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
