My story

Meet Jim! Jim is an adorable guy with an irresistible underbite that will melt your heart! He may take a little time to get to know you, but once he does, he’s a total love bug who will be your best friend for life.Jim would do best in an adult-only home with people who understand and respect his boundaries — he appreciates a calm, patient environment where he can blossom at his own pace. He came to us as a stray, so we’re not quite sure how he feels about cats just yet.Jim might enjoy having a dog friend, but he can be a bit selective with his canine pals — we’d be happy to set up a meet and greet to make sure it’s the perfect match! He can be a bit protective of his favorite treasures (hey, we all have our prized snacks and toys!), so a family that understands his need for a little personal space around his goodies will help him feel right at home.If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a quirky smile and lots of love to give, Jim is ready to find his special someone!Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays).
