Blue was found as a stray, extremely skinny, and the shelter knew he needed a rescue to get him healthy. Today this beautiful boy is ready to find his forever family. This affectionate and goofy under 1 year old Doberman loves to be close to his people – preferably within one centimeter – and if he could, he’d crawl into your lap and stay there all day. Blue is full of joyful energy, and when he runs, it’s more like bouncing and skipping – a true entertainer. He loves his toys, especially balls and bones, and he plays respectfully, whether he’s with humans or dogs. He’s also happy to entertain himself but would rather be gazing into your eyes and soaking up attention. Blue Jackman’s Top Traits: 100% potty trained! Crate trained and great in the car Not reactive to storms, barking dogs, geese, or even deer (although they do pique his curiosity!) No interest in bathroom garbage, dirty laundry, shoes, or plastic bags – a true gentleman Good with cats and older kids - too much energy for toddlers or small kids Loves other dogs – plays hard and would do best with a dog his size who can match his energy Takes correction well and plays respectfully Already knows Sit, Come, Outside, and even "Downstairs" - he's a fast learner Working on leash manners, he's improving every day Intelligent, eager to please, affectionate, and playful A total goofball with a heart of gold Because of his energetic, bouncy nature, a home without small children is best. Blue would thrive with a single person or a couple, especially if someone is home during the day.
