My story

Meet Kayla - read what her foster mom has to say about her.If you're looking for the most sweetest, easy going love bug, this is your girl!  We're told Kayla is a 7 year year old mini bernadoodle. She weighs about 45 pounds, and her hair most definitely resembles more of the Bernese mountain dog traits vs. a doodle so she does shed a little. She was given up from a breeder that no longer has use for her. Kayla has some type of chronic thickening to her ear canals that have gotten that way over a long span of time from ear issues not being addressed in the past. Her ears are fine but will likely look this way forever.  We have switched her to a sensitive food diet in thoughts that maybe the ear issues were due to some kind of food sensititivity. She also had a mammary mass removed which is quite common in dogs that have been bred over and over for many litters of puppies.  Kayla is sooooo sweet and just wants love and belly rubs! She will follow you wherever you will go. She walks great on a leash. She is crate trained but doesn't seem to need to be crated. She sleeps great through the night without a peep. She currently resides with 3 other dogs and does well with all of them. She doesn't seem to care to interact with the other dogs and prefers the more docile ones in the house to the active puppy she lives with.  She mostly just wants love and attention from the humans in the house! Kayla is potty trained and has had no accidents in the house or chewed anything she shouldn't.  She lives in a kid free home, so we aren't sure how she is with children, but she seems to love all humans that she has met so far! Kayla truly is the best good girl and is looking for her forever lap to snuggle in! Kayla is now spayed and ready for adoption. She is up to date with vaccines and microchipped. Kayla tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention.  Her adoption fee is $300.00.
