My story

Meet Liberty, a uniquely marked beauty who`s as sweet as she is striking! This lovely girl appears to be house-trained at the shelter and already knows “sit”—in fact, she’ll often sit before you even ask, especially if she suspects there might be a treat involved. Liberty is always ready for a walk—she’ll happily head out of her kennel, tail wagging and eyes bright with curiosity. She enjoys exploring the trails and walks nicely on the leash.Liberty loves playing in the yard, and shows off her joyful zoomies and playful bursts of energy. She is an affectionate girl, and will happily hop up on a bench for some gentle pets and quality time with her human. She’s very treat-motivated, eager to please, and ready to find a family who will appreciate both her smarts and her soft, affectionate side.Liberty has enjoyed a few fun-filled Dog’s Day Out adventures with volunteers, and she made the most of every moment! This playful and energetic girl needed a little help getting in and out of the car, but once aboard, she was a perfect passenger—calm and curious as she rode along to Fort McHenry. After a short walk, Liberty opted to beat the heat by relaxing in the shade and enjoying the breeze by the water. She soaked up the sights, leaned in for snuggles and scritches, and showed off her affectionate, silly personality. She wasn’t reactive to passersby, just curious and content to observe the world around her. Back at her new friend’s home, she had a blast playing with a Kong chew toy and a rope toy, showing off her fun-loving side. She was a well mannered gal while shopping at Petco and enjoying a pup cup!Liberty has met other dogs at the shelter and enjoys playtime with her canine friends.Liberty is full of charm, cuddles, and playful energy—and she’s ready to bring all that love into a forever home! Come meet Liberty—you just might fall in love with her one-of-a-kind look and easygoing charm.I`m a VIP because I`m still learning, and the shelter can be a tough place for dogs like me to shine.
