Ally

My story

Ally would be the perfect pet for a young family starting out. Because of her gentle yet happy, playful nature she should be very good with children. Ally is a one year old 48 pound American pitbull terrier mix that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 6/30 as a stray. Her coloring is very unique. I would say she is sort of taupe colored with hazel eyes that match her coloring! She looks like she’s been well taken care of. She’s got a fun loving easy-going personality. At times she tried to entice me to play. She’s also sort of goofy in a fun way. She’s highly motivated by treats. She sits for treats and will continue sitting in anticipation of another one. A dog that is highly motivated by treats is usually easy to train. At one time, she put her legs on my lap and nestled her head in my neck. She’s a lap dog wannabe. She also gives sloppy wet kisses. She’s energetic. She’s curious and affectionate. She was not interested in meeting other dogs .She walks OK on a leash. She’s the whole package!
