My story

Hi, I’m Chester – Your New Best Friend! I’m a 5-year-old mixed breed with a big heart, a happy spirit, and a serious love for fetch. Seriously — I live for it! Toss me a ball outside and I’m in heaven… but the best part? I’m just as good at playing fetch inside while you relax and watch Netflix. I’ve got the whole “entertain-my-human-while-they-binge-watch” thing down to a science. I’m housebroken (no messes here!), crate trained, and super comfortable free roaming around the house. I’m respectful, calm when I need to be, and always on the lookout for a cozy spot to nap near you. I love being part of the action, whether it’s an outdoor adventure or just hanging out in the living room. If you’re looking for a happy, playful, loyal buddy who brings joy, laughter, and the occasional tennis ball to your life — I might just be your perfect match. Come meet me! I’ll be the one wagging my tail and hoping you brought a ball!  If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can!
