My story

Hi! I’m Oso. I’m playful, happy, and a little reckless when it comes to fun! I was born after my mom was rescued in rough shape, and now I’m growing up healthy and loved. I’m a sweet, cuddly nap-lover who knows I’m adorable—just look at my fuzzy coat and charming eyes! I love to walk, play, and spend time with other dogs and kids. I’ve already learned “sit” and “come,” and I’m working on more. My ideal home has space to explore, some doggy siblings or kids to play with, and humans who love adventure. I wouldn’t do well in a small apartment or a quiet home—I’m made for life, movement, and cuddles. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Oso, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
