Introducing Cobra Bubbles—and yes, the name is ironic because this little guy is about as intimidating as a marshmallow in a snuggle blanket. Cobra is one of the chill brown pups of the Lilo & Stitch litter, and while his name might suggest secret agent vibes or government-level intensity, he’s actually just here for the cuddles and long, dramatic naps. He’s more calm, more cuddly, and fully committed to the art of doing nothing with great enthusiasm. So if you’re looking for a wild child with boundless energy—move along. But if you're in the market for a little brown cuddle bug with a name that sounds like he should be saving the world but is actually just saving you from loneliness? Cobra Bubbles is your guy. This 6-week-old, 4-pound bundle of fluff and his siblings came to us after their rockstar mom, Nani, gave birth in the shelter. Mom seems to be part Aussie or Irish Setter—gorgeous, graceful, and possibly part deer. As for Dad? Well, he clearly moonlighted as a curly-coated mystery man, dropped off some curly haired genetics, and then vanished into the night without so much as a text. Cobra didn’t get the full curl package, but his siblings have us believing there is some Poodle hiding in them Cobra Bubbles is more on the reserved side when it comes to his littermates—which is a polite way of saying he’s not about that rowdy nonsense. While the others are body-slamming each other into food bowls, Cobra is sitting off to the side like, “Y’all are embarrassing. This is why we can’t have nice things.” Cats? He hasn’t met any yet. We imagine he’d blink slowly at one, sigh deeply, and go back to napping like he just doesn’t have the energy to care about feline drama. He’s spent time with a 16-year-old named Sam and did great—mainly because Sam provides cuddles, and Cobra is very pro-cuddle. Kids who know how to snuggle without yelling directly into his soul? Yes, please. As for new people? Cobra is friendly, polite, and probably assumes you’ve arrived solely to admire him and offer a comfy place to nap. Cobra Bubbles is rocking a solid 5–6 on the energy scale—basically the sweet spot between “mildly enthusiastic potato” and “toddler after a juice box.” His temperament? Extremely easygoing and borderline professional when it comes to cuddling. He’s not here to stress you out—he’s here to nap on you like a weighted blanket that occasionally licks your face. His favorite activities include: light exploration, a casual game or two with his siblings, and flopping into your lap like it’s his full-time job. Thinking about adopting Cobra Bubbles? Excellent. Just remember—you’re not adopting a fully-formed gentleman in a fur coat. You’re getting a baby with zero life skills and very strong opinions about where (and when) to poop. Potty training? Oh, that’s still on the to-do list. Right now, he’s operating under the “any surface is fair game” policy. Leash training? Not a thing yet. The concept of walking politely on a leash is, frankly, laughable to him. He’ll likely respond with confusion, dramatic flops, and the occasional "why are you doing this to me" glare. Socialization? He’s off to a great start but still needs help understanding that not everything is terrifying—or edible. He’ll need gentle introductions to the big, weird world, including loud noises, new people, and the terrifying monster known as “the vacuum.” So, if you’re looking for a perfectly trained lap dog with zero bad habits—keep dreaming. But if you’re ready to laugh, learn, and help a very cuddly little dude grow into his best self, Cobra Bubbles might just be your new favorite project. So, if you’ve made it this far and are thinking, “Yes, I would absolutely love to be emotionally manipulated by a 4-pound snuggle bug with zero life skills and questionable choices to pottyl,” then Cobra Bubbles might just be your soulmate. But here’s the fine print: 📍 He must be picked up in Hutchinson, KS—no delivery, teleportation, or carrier pigeon options available. 📆 He can’t leave until around July 21st, because he’s still got some growing to do (and probably a few more naps to take). 📝 And yes, you do have to fill out an adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app . He may be tiny, but his standards are high—and so are ours.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cobra Bubbles, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
