My story

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Sausage! Sausage is approximately 5-6 years old, 50 lbs currently and he may have some Mountain Cur in his mix (but really is a Mutt)! Sausage was surrendered because the other dog in the house did not like him. He also was Heartworm positive. He has been treated and is ready for his forever home! In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate training and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids 10+ and other dogs. No cats please!His foster says, `Even though he`s had a rough last few years, you would never know because he is so sweet, kind, and gentle and it never even broke his spirit. He`s a good old boy. He loves to play. He really loves to eat! He is very food motivated. He`s got `sit` down pretty good but you have to have treats or he won`t do it. He doesn`t mind playing with other dogs that are around his size. He`s never chewed anything up. He`s lovable and he loves to be loved on. Sausage has seen all of his friends from the shelter find their loving homes. Now sausage is looking for his forever home. He just want somebody to love him and take care of him so that he can give all of his love back to them and trust me he has a lot of love to give.`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on July 18th.
