Skippy

My story

This handsome devil is Skippy! Aka Skip. Chi mix, adorable, soft, giant mama's boy, apx 4years old and 11 lbs of short chunky love. Skip is a funny kid. Appears to have good potty manners, walks well on a leash, is very friendly with cats, kids and female dogs. He loves the ladies but is dominant with other male dogs. He hates the kennel and will bark and whine for quite a few minutes before giving up. Although we don not kennel them here we do have to kennel him for car rides and he is not a huge fan of the kennel but loves the car rides. He likes walks and meeting new dogs and people on walks, he won't just attack a male dog, he just does not prefer them in his space. and tends to have some machismo. He really loves his girlfriend Lucia. The came in together. It would be awesome if we can get them adopted together, however if not, we completely understand and we'll just be happy that they both got great homes. Skippy is a really sweet boy and gets attached very quickly to humans. He adores attention. He is a tad whiny at times and always wants to be with you. He does not have destructive separation anxiety though. He is just a bit vocal when leaving the house but he does stop after 3-5 minutes when he realizes his tantrum is not working. He loves to please his people though and I think this behaviour could be positively modified. He is handsome and quite the gentleman. He will certainly be your best bud!
