My story

Meet Roper — a heart as big as his paws. 🖤🐾 Roper was found out roaming, all alone — but somehow still full of hope and sweetness. Our Susan scooped him up from the Buckhead neighborhood off Moccasin after he’d been spotted wandering through Ivy Log for far too long. From the trail of posts on social media, it’s clear he’s been out there searching for about a month… maybe for his people, or maybe just for a place to belong. And now? He’s safe. He’s loved. He’s getting groceries, vet care, and all the chin scratches a dog could dream of. He’ll be neutered soon, and we’re helping him put on a few pounds — he’s about 55 lbs now and could stand a little spoiling. We think he’s around 3 years old, give or take, and he’s everything we love about border collies: loyal, gentle, and incredibly smart.
