My story

🐾 Meet Tawny! 🐱 Tawny’s journey hasn’t been easy. He was rescued from a difficult situation. Life hasn’t always been kind to him, but he’s a survivor—and a very sweet boy, and he’s ready for a safe place to call home. Tawny is still a bit shy, understandably, which means he needs a very special home that can offer him patience, understanding, and space. He is also FIV-positive, so his immune system needs a little extra support. He’ll need to remain indoors and benefit from regular vet care and a low-stress environment to stay healthy. He would do best in a calm, quiet home where he can simply *be*—no expectations, no pressure. While Tawny may not turn out to be a lap cat, he still deserves to live a life filled with safety, respect, and love on his own terms. If you have the heart to give a misunderstood sweet kitty a chance at peace, Tawny might be the one.
