Eloise

My story

Eloise, or Weezy, as we call her, is the epitome of resilience. She was a street stray here in Chicago that somehow evaded capture for over a month. When she came to us, she was filthy, matted, and covered in fleas with teeth literally rotting out of her mouth. Despite her condition and how long she had been fending for herself, she was immediately trusting and gentle. She has had a dental procedure to remove almost all of her remaining teeth, and she is thriving. She loves food, she loves cuddles, and she loves human and dog friends alike. Now that her teeth have been managed, she does need a primarily soft diet, but she's not picky at all! She has a clean bill of health for a 12(ish) year old lady and a lot of love left to give. Weezy is low maintenance, non-shedding, and sweet as can be. Eloise's adoption fee covers her up-to-date vaccines and preventatives, up-to-date heartworm testing (negative!), spay, and microchip.
