I am the sweetest little fella ever. And I’m playful, energetic, affectionate, and so much fun. I will keep you entertained for hours with my silly antics and my endearing style. Still, I’ve been through a lot of confusing change and instability lately, so please stay patient with me as I get settled in. I’m shy at first, taking everything in and figuring things out. Once we bond, though, and once I know that I can trust you and that you’re my people, I will quickly become a beloved member of the family. I can’t wait for that day…the beginning of my brand-new life!I’m a darling, 1 year old, 11-pound Chihuahua mix, with soft, beautiful fur, perky ears, the cutest little face, and a happy, delightful personality. I’m already crate trained and I’m mostly housebroken, too, although please be understanding when I have occasional accidents, especially as I get settled in. If you keep me on a regular schedule and get me out for plenty of breaks, it will help to set me up for success. I came to Wayside when my previous owner had to move and couldn’t take me along. I miss him, but I’m keeping busy preparing for my new life, which I hope will be with you.I’m a different dog today than the sad, shut-down pup who first walked through the door at Wayside. I was so afraid, trying my best to hide from everyone, hoping no one would notice me. I joined Wayside’s Confidence College, where I made a few friends who helped me understand that the world doesn’t have to be such a scary place. And then the best thing ever happened when Foster Mom took me home with her. It took several days for me to understand that I was safe and loved in
