I might be just a little cautious and shy until I get to know you, but once you’re the person who I trust and feel safe with, I will love you deeply with everything I’ve got. I’ll be your constant companion and loyal friend. I’ve been through a lot of change and instability in my life, but I try my best not to let that get me down. Once we’re family, I hope that you’ll wonder what you ever did without me in your life. Yep, I’m that special. And I can’t wait to be your dog. That’s all I’ve ever wanted…to belong and to be loved. I’m an adorable, 2-year-old, 49-pound Black Lab mix, with expressive ears, gentle eyes, the sweetest smile, and a lovely, delightful personality. I’m already housebroken and crate trained, and I even know how to use a dog door. How about that? I came to Wayside when my previous owner could no longer take care of me. I miss her. My life hasn’t been easy, though, and coming to the big shelter was scary and confusing. I still remember trembling in my kennel those first few days. I’m currently living in a foster home!
