My story

Arlo isn’t just a dog — he’s a survivor with a story that will touch your heart. For the first year of his life, Arlo lived inside a veterinary lab. No sunlight, no fresh air, no soft grass beneath his paws — just cold floors and clinical walls. When he was finally freed, his journey to healing had only just begun. Tragically, just two weeks into his new life, Arlo was spooked during a walk and was hit by a car. He survived, but the accident left him injured and facing euthanasia… until we stepped in and gave him a second chance. Today, Arlo is safe, healing, and learning how to be a dog for the very first time. He's discovering the joy of belly rubs, the wonder of chasing butterflies, and the comfort of human kindness. Each day, he gets braver, sweeter, and more trusting. Arlo needs a forever home that will offer him the patience he deserves, the love he craves, and the security he’s never known.
