My story

Meet Big Boy, a gentle soul with eyes that speak volumes. When we first saw him, there was a sadness in his gaze, one that spoke of his difficult past. Big Boy was rescued from a city shelter, where he was facing the devastating prospect of euthanasia due to a heartworm illness. This kind-hearted dog certainly did not deserve such a fate, and we immediately saw the potential in him to be the loving companion he was meant to be. Now, Big Boy is undergoing heartworm treatment and rehabilitation, and though his journey to recovery is ongoing, he is slowly starting to shine. He’s already shown that he’s great with other dogs and has a calm, gentle nature that would make him an ideal fit for a peaceful home. Big Boy truly deserves a chance to experience love and care in his golden years, where he can relax and enjoy all the good things life has to offer.
