My story

Meet Maxi, a sweet and gentle German Shepherd mix who has already been through more than any dog should ❤️‍🩹 Maxi came to us in heartbreaking condition—malnourished, covered in scabs, fleas, and ticks, suffering from hair loss, and so weak she was vomiting and refusing food. To make things even more urgent… Maxi is pregnant. She’s now receiving the medical care she desperately needed and is showing signs of improvement, but what she truly needs is a calm, safe foster home—a peaceful space where she can heal, regain her strength, and prepare to bring her puppies into the world. Maxi is SO incredibly sweet despite everything she’s endured. She deserves comfort, love, and a chance to feel safe. If you can open your home to Maxi—even just temporarily—you’ll be giving her the second chance she’s been waiting for 🐾
