My story

Meet Esme!Esme is a bright, joyful 10-month-old pup with a heart as big as her playful spirit. She’s the perfect blend of silly, sweet, and smart — always ready to make you laugh with her goofy antics, yet eager to keep learning and growing. One of Esme’s greatest joys in life is water — whether it’s a kiddie pool, sprinklers, or a swim that shows off her otter-like moves, she’s happiest when she can splash and play. She’s also an independent little entertainer, but don’t let that fool you — Esme is incredibly clever and will thrive with regular exercise, fun challenges, and a family who can help her channel her energy into all the right adventures.Still a puppy at heart, Esme is learning the ins and outs of good manners and gaining confidence every day. In her foster home, she lives peacefully with two other dogs, is fully potty trained, sleeps soundly through the night on her bed, and enjoys her beloved chew bones. Esme enjoys runs with her foster Mom or neighborhood walks with her `pack`. She already knows “sit,” walks politely on leash, and is excited to keep adding new tricks to her repertoire.Esme is ready to be someone’s loyal, water-loving, treat-motivated best friend. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate sidekick to fill your days with laughter and love, Esme just might be the one.Reach out to foster Mom, with questions or to schedule a meet up at the shelter: bkortebein@gmail.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt *ESME, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
