My story

Meet Dona Age: 9 months Weight: 8kg Height: 34cm (shoulder height) Breed: Mixed (Pug, Chihuahua, Miniature Pinscher mix – presumed) Color: Black & Brown Sex: Spayed Female Personality with People Dona is an affectionate girl who enjoys human company—she happily greets both familiar faces and strangers, often rubbing against them and allowing pets. While she may be a little shy in unfamiliar environments, she quickly warms up, especially with treats! She’s friendly with both women and men, and it’s possible to pick her up by placing your arms under her belly. Dona can also be a great friend to children under 13, though since her spay (on June 19), she’s become a bit more sensitive to sudden touches and may need a gentle, patient introduction. Personality with Dogs Dona is sociable with dogs and approaches both familiar and new pups to say hello or invite play. However, she can get frightened and retreat when faced with much larger or high-energy dogs. She prefers to play with similarly sized, calm companions. With Cats She hasn’t met a cat yet, but we expect she could adjust well with proper introductions. A cat test can be arranged. Energy Level Moderate—she enjoys outdoor activities but is calm and relaxed afterward. ‍ Walking Style Still learning! Due to limited walking experience, she may pancake (lie flat) if something scares her during walks. Other Notes Dona shows no signs of resource guarding toward people or dogs and is not currently experiencing separation anxiety. She’s quiet and well-behaved in a kennel. She finds cars a bit scary and prefers to be carried in. She is house-trained and uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor areas for bathroom needs. Rescue Story Dona was rescued from a high-risk kill shelter. Her docked tail suggests she was likely bred for commercial purposes but discarded when she didn’t meet specific breed standards.
